Vogue Knitting Winter 2009/2010

YAY!!!

Now hear this!

Vogue Magazine is adding another issue to their yearly issues!!!

In their Editor's Letter, they said:

YAY!!!  An Early Fall issue!  I think it's perfect!

Fall is a tough time for Californians (or for this Californian, anyway).

We don't have the traditional cool/chilly fall weather that the East Coast gets.

I can be 80 degrees and hot on Halloween!

Anyway, hopefully they'll have some great Fall 'in between seasons' patterns for everyone!

Knit Simple Winter 2009/10

The new issue of KnitSimple will be out soon!!!

(January 26th, to be exact)  ;-)

The hat on this cover is so cute!

Here's some of the cute things that stood out to me:

These are so cute!  I'd make them longer, like up to my elbows!

I love these too!  I'd use them as leg warmers and arm warmers!

Cute hat!  It looks so warm & cozy!

Knitty Winter 2009 Issue

The Winter 2009 issue of Knitty is out!

This hat is FABULOUS and I will definitely be making it (hopefully for me and my upcoming NY trip!)

 

 This is pretty!  I'd make this a bit longer to cover more of my shoulders/arms.

Knit.1, Where are you?!?!?

I LOVE my Knit.1...

So where are they?!

While everyone else (Vogue, Debbie Bliss, Knit Simple, Knitty) has released their Fall/Winter issues,

Knit.1 is stuck on Spring/Summer 2009.

I hope they're just working on a REALLY good issue...

And not that they've gone south.

Yay!!!

The latest issue of Debbie Bliss is on sale now!

And if it's anything like the past 2 issues, it should be good!!!

These sneak peeks below really put me in the Fall mood
(which isn't easy to do as I am not a fan of Fall...)

Not sure what's going on here, but I like it!

The new Vogue Knitting is out!

Love, love, love the cover and am always excited to see anything with "Twinkle" or 'chunky'!

As you know, I love my Twinkle and that sweater below looks like fun.

I'm also particularly excited about this Tom Scott!

He was featured in the Vogue Knitting before (in the Holiday 2007 issue iwth Paulina Porizkova) and I was curious back then!

Am excited now and will definitely be trying that sweater below.

I have a bag full of gorgeous taupe yarn (Lion Thick & Quick in "Taupe") just waiting to meet it's perfect project!
