25 ways to wear a scarf...

You guys...

You have to check this video out!

I came across this video on the ol' Facebook from

Aside from the 25 great ideas on all the things you can do with a wrap,
this video is just done really well!

From the music, to the editing and the slow-mo...

I dunno much about video-ing and editing but I know when I like something and I like what I see!

She also has a nice blogpost on the behind-the-scenes of how the video came together!

Check it out...

Mattress Stitch on Garter Stitch edges...

I've been working on something lately which, hopefully I'll get to share with you later this week.

But I needed to attach a Garter Stitch collar to a non-garter stitch edge and I found two helpful YouTube videos that I thought I'd share!

This one from Jimmy Beans Wool is great!  This is the one that I actually ended up using.

and this one from Domiknitrix, which I found to be really clear and I like the way she describes the 'sad face' and 'happy face' as a way to see which stitch to go into!

Thank God for You Tube!

Winding a Center Pull Ball

I came across this great video on how to wind a center pull ball from the PurlBee blog!
These Berroco skeins are for El Hub's "Pong" Video Game sweater vest (yes, that's correct.  A sweater vest with a Pong image on it.  More to come on that one!).

I bought these skeins on sale at my LYS and they do not wind skeins when skeins are on sale.

Fortunately, this video is so helpful and I was able to do this myself!

Looks ok?

For the life of me, I can't seem to figure out how to put this video on here so...

Here's the link and I hope it's as helpful to you as it was to me!

Yarn on the House - Susan B. Anderson YouTube Interview!

Well... as you know, we don't have TV.

Besides watching Hulu and Netflix (streaming), I also love to watch YouTube!

So I was so excited last night to find these YouTube interviews with Susan B. Anderson of Spud & Chloe!

I love love love reading her blog as well as the Spud & Chloe blog.

I check them daily!

I wasn't familiar with Yarn on the House 'til last night and I love the idea of these knitter interviews!

Brilliant!

Here is her interview with Susan B. Anderson!

I hope Yarn on the House makes more videos!

I love 'em!

HowTo: Weekend in Stockholm Crochet Throw Round 1 (Debbie Stoller)

Thank you to Gina for her comment on the Round 2 video of the Weekend in Stockholm Crochet Throw!  Here's a video for Round 1...

Gina's comment has motivated me to pick this back up and keep on workin' on it!

I'm focused on my UFOs these days, which I'll show you in another post.

I can definitely add this to the long list of UFOs that I need to power through!  :)

Here is the video for Round 2 and Round 3...

Finally!  The second HowTo video for Round 3 from Debbie Stoller's Weekend in Stockholm Crochet throw!

Sorry this one took so long!  I hope this video is helpful!  I know it's a bit blurry...

Please be honest!  It's the only way I'll learn!

I know this video is kinda small so to see it in full size, you can go to my YouTube channel!

And here's the Round 2 HowTo video, just in case!  :)

HowTo: Weekend in Stockholm Throw Round 2 (Debbie Stoller)

Thank you to @holmersu for their nice question and comment about the Debbie Stoller Weekend in Stockholm throw.

I know I was certainly confused by the pattern instructions for Round 2 and Round 3.

Here is a video for how I do my Round 2.  I hope it's helpful!

(have patience with me... I am new to making videos.)

Fortunately, thanks to the great direction from our AV dept. (aka - El Hub), I think it came out ok.  ;-)

I know this is small so go to my YouTube channel to see it in full size!  :)

I love Mo Rocca!  He cracks me up!  (And let's face it... I love the boys with the glasses!!!)   0:-)

I've been loving him ever since his days on my ONLY favorite show - Best Week Ever!  (back when it was still on!)

Anyway, here's a funny short clip from Mo Rocca talking about knittin'!
