Lion Tied Hoodie

Yay!!!!!!!!!!!

I finished it!!!
I know it called for a tassel on the hood, but I am not a 'tassel' girl... and I don't think this baby will be either... ;-)

YARN: Lion Babysoft in Bubble Gum (one skein total)

NEEDLES: size 6 reg (even tho it calls for size 5! even smaller!)

ETC: holders and markers

TIME: Forever...

Lion Tied Hoodie

Well... what can I say...

First off... I'm making this for my nemesis... A baby. (oh I'm kidding... come on, people).

I'm almost done (Thank God). It's coming along nicely. I finished that sleeve (that you see undone below).

Now I just need to finish the hood and attach it. Then put on the buttons!

Alls I can say is, this kid better like and wear this sweater! (Again, people... kidding... It's a baby... I know...)

Observe: pills... as this sweater has driven me to start taking...

Good God! What a mess!

Arg... :(

Lion Tied Hoodie

Well... It's getting there... It seems once I reached the 4 1/2 inch mark, it started to go quickly...

That there is the right side of the sweater, with two teeny button holes that you can't see... yet!

I never thought I'd hear myself say this but... I can't wait to get back to my Twinkle books!

Lion Tied Hoodie

Yawn...

Oh geez...

I've been working on this for what seems like forever and it's now only at 2.75 inches...

And I gotta get to 4.5 in before I can divide!

Ugh...

Teeny yarn and tiny needles = sloooooow project

YARN: Lion Babysoft in Bubble Gum (one skein so far...)

NEEDLES: size 6 reg (even tho it calls for size 5! even smaller!)

ETC: holders and markers (if I ever get to that part...)

My God... what has Twinkle done to me!

Lion Tied Hoodie

Ok...

Again, I've decided to put off the Twinkle Hoodie and work on/start this Tied Hoodie.

It seems easy enough and should hopefully work fast since A's baby is due in exactly one month!

It does call for size 5 needles and I think my size 5's are in storage so I'm using size 6's...

I'm so used to working chunky yarn and BIG needles with all the Twinkle patterns that just casting on and working 3 rows in this teeny tiny yarn with these teeny tiny needles has been slow moving!

Will post pics when there's something more exciting to show than just 3 rows of Garter stitch...

Yarn: Lion Baby Soft in Bubble Gum

Needles: Size 6

Etc: Markers & Stitch Holders
